Norman Mailer once wrote;

"Every moment of one's existence, one is growing into more or retreating into less.  One is always living a little more or dying a little bit."

So it is that as an artist I try to grow into more by exploring the world around me.  The more I draw the more I realize how little I actually knew about what I was drawing, how all the little details are never noticed.  So, I try to capture and notice life.
