Sketchbooks

I''m a graduate of the Columbus College of Art & Design who has always loved drawing but doesn''t get to do it enough in my job as a graphic designer.

I sometimes sketch in meetings when I''m bored. This usually means drawing over handwritten notes, or on a post-it note or scrap paper. My art usually gets damaged in one way or another. Another artist may consider this a compromise, but I believe each piece tells a unique story because of the circumstances. I''m always curious how people interpret my style.

My art is also featured on the cover of one of the Bored sketchbooks. (How appropriate!) Mine is called "Tough Love" and is intended to be an abstract combination of symbols. I tried to make something that looks beautiful but means nothing in particular to me. I want you to create your own meaning.
